This site is a tribute to Jacqueline Rout-Lysandrou. She is much loved and will always be remembered. We welcome all to celebrate her life and remember the joy she brought to our lives.
We sadly said goodbye to Jaq/Mum/Gwen/Mrs Lysandrou/SheffJaq on Thursday 28th September. She spent the last month under the kind care of St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield surrounded by friends and family. They treated her, and us, with kindness and compassion. Her wishes were for donations to go to St Luke's so they can continue to provide the expert care so many need.
She asked the funeral was traditional with black attire and lots of tears. There will be a wake after the crematorium at The Red Lion (bottom Red,95 Penistone Road) with a "proper buffet".
She asked for family only flowers at the funeral. If you would like to show support please donate below.
For those that cannot make it in person there will be a webcast and please contact us for the link and codes.
We love you Jaq/Mum, to the moon and back. And always a little bit more...
Thank you for all the wonderful memories you allowed us to make in your home, for giving me one of the best friends I could ever hope for and for all the sausage rolls. We promise to keep Rhi smiling and we will always be here for your girls. I will remember you every time I send Brad to fetch my wine or read a story to little Niamh in the lovely chair you gave to us x
Thank you for being my northern mum - for feeding our ridiculous hangovers, for putting up with far too much Beyonce, and for being a safe space and an endless fountain of advice and wisdom. We'll miss you forever xx
